About the role
Job Purpose
Ensure machinery is positioned, secured, documented and released safely on suitable trailers and transport vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise loading and lashing of batching plants, booms and heavy equipment
- Verify equipment positioning, load distribution and securing
- Inspect trailers, lifting tools, chains, belts, shackles and accessories
- Enforce loading, lifting and safety procedures
- Verify loose items and dispatch documents before release
- Maintain loading and dispatch checklists and report unsafe conditions

Qualification & Preferred Industry Exposure
Required qualification: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Preferred industry exposure: Loading and lashing heavy engineering equipment, including exposure to trailers, cranes, Hydra operations and lifting tackles.
