About the role
Job Purpose
Keep production operations safe and uninterrupted through disciplined inspection, fitting, repair and maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend mechanical breakdowns and restore machinery promptly
- Complete preventive maintenance to schedule
- Fit, assemble, dismantle and align mechanical components
- Maintain pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors and compressors
- Perform basic fabrication, drilling, grinding and minor welding work
- Inspect abnormal noise, vibration, leakage and wear
- Maintain service records, checklists and spares-consumption details
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
